The project’s activities include the organization of a launching meeting, along with legal clinic outreach sessions and training sessions.
The aim of the legal clinic sessions is to raise awareness on the citizens’ rights to access to justice and on the availability of the help desk services. These sessions will be held in different places; including “poor areas”, “related CSOs”, “human rights institutions”, “law universities”, “secondary schools”, “orphanages, prisons and detention centers”, “camps hosting internally displaced”, “women’s shelters”, and “various local non-governmental organizations (LNGOs)”.
The aim of the training sessions is to increase the awareness and capabilities of the relevant actors on issues related to legal aid, access to justice and legal rights. Those actors are, including but not limited to, the family protection units, NGOs, legal professionals, law students.
